Armelle Muller has been working in fire safety for 25 years at CNPP (French prevention and protection association). She is currently supervising a team of 26 people (including 11 engineers and PhD), having also strategic and economic responsibilities. This team is involved in fire investigation, fire tests (fire resistance, extinguishing products, suppression systems: sprinkler, water mist, foam systems and gas systems) and fire safety engineering.

She is a member of the board of director at CNPP. She is also supervising Research Development and Innovation at CNPP. She represents CNPP in meetings or relations with French federation of insurers.

As a legal expert qualified in fire, she performs fire investigation and gives testimony in the court. Armelle gives courses and conferences on fire investigation, fire testing and fire safety engineering mainly in France and in Europe and also in more distant countries such as Africa and Korea.

She has been elected president of SFPE French Chapter in 2013 and re-elected in 2015 and has been a member of French Chapter for more than 10 years.
