To develop guidance on estimating fully developed fire heat transfer signatures for the purpose of performance-based analysis and design of fire resistance. This working group is part of a collaborative effort with the American Society of Civil Engineers and representatives of the masonry, timber, steel and concrete industries to develop a performance-based standard on fire resistance.
The task group is presently not active. However, SFPE is presently developing an engineeirng standard with a similar scope to the guide that this task groupo developed.
