SFPE Standards Making Committee on Calculating Fire Exposures to Structures

The draft " SFPE Standard on Calculating Fire Exposures to Structures" is available for review and comment.  Proposed modifications are due on August 31, 2007.

The scope of the standard that the committee is developing is as follows: "This standard provides methodologies to predict thermal boundary conditions for fully-developed fires to a structure over time.  Information developed using this standard will provide input to thermal response and structural response calculations conducted as part of an engineered structural fire resistance design."
