SFPE Standards Making Committee on Thermal Response of Structures to Fire

The SFPE Board of Directors has approved a new standards development project on predicting the thermal performance of fire resistive assemblies.  It is envisioned that the methodologies contemplated by this standard would be appropriate for non-standard fire exposures.  This standard would form part of a suite of documents (not all of which will be developed by SFPE) on performance-based design of structural fire resistance.
