What We’ve Learned Since the Introduction of Listed Antifreezes

When:  Nov 17, 2021 from 11:00 to 12:00 (ET)

It’s been nearly 2 years since the launch of the first UL-listed fire sprinkler antifreeze. Although there are several options now available on the market, a lot of questions remain around codes, standards, listings, and design requirements as they pertain to listed antifreeze.

With the September 30, 2022 deadline for antifreeze systems conversion less than a year away, clarity is more important than ever.  With multiple listed antifreezes available, it is crucial that the fire protection community understand the ins and outs of antifreeze for fire sprinkler systems and ensure compliance with products’ listings and manufacturers’ guidelines.

In this panel-style webinar, we’ll take a dive deep into specific questions we’ve heard from the field about fire sprinkler antifreeze – listed and unlisted. We’ll cover topics such as UL 2901 and antifreeze dilution, NFPA 25 design criteria, dry system calculations, yearly testing, and more.
