This change sparked an overhaul of the Modification to Existing Systems chapter in NFPA 13 for the 2025 revision cycle and included fundamental changes for the evaluation of systems that are already in service. This presentation will review the new structure of the existing systems chapter and additional requirements on the evaluation, modification, and testing of existing systems.
