Course Description
This virtual seminar is derived from the SFPE 2-day Introduction to Fire Risk Assessment program. It is an intensive introduction to the Guide which will provide participants with a high-level overview of all of the topics included within the Guide. Participants will spend the first day discussing the four phases of fire risk assessment and their associated steps as well as discussing the limitations of fire risk assessment. On the second day participants will be broken into groups to work through an example fire risk assessment to further their understanding of the concepts discussed on the first day.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
•Understand the topics discussed in SFPE Guide to Fire Risk Assessment, 2nd Edition at a cursory level. (Reference Figure 3-1)
•Utilize the SFPE Guide to Fire Risk Assessment, 2nd Edition to find more in-depth information about the topics covered.
•Explain the role of fire risk assessment in fire protection engineering.
•Describe the purpose, scope, and limitations of fire risk assessment.

Course Delivery
All of live sessions are recorded and provided to the attendees in the course. If you are unable to watch the live session you will be able to go back and watch the recorded sessions up to 1 month after last session. Once you complete all of the course content, survey, and quiz, you will be provided your PDH Certificate of Completion.
