Available Funding Opportunities

International Water Mist Association (IWMA) Young Talent Award - IWMA has established this new award for young scientists who dedicate their master thesis to water mist technology. The winner will receive a monetary prize as well as travel accommodations to IWMA's annual conference, where they will present their thesis. For more information, visit the IWMA website.

 Siemens Engineering Innovation Award - Siemens recently opened submissions for its third annual Siemens Engineering Innovation Award, which recognizes innovative thinking and problem solving in fire and life safety system design. All consulting specifying engineering firms that have incorporated Siemens fire and life safety technologies into an innovative design are eligible for nomination. Entries will feature an innovative project that incorporates the use of Siemens fire and life safety technologies to protect life, property and business mission. NFPA Wildfire Community Preparedness Day Project Funding Awards - Plan a wildfire awareness, risk reduction, or post-fire project to be implemented during NFPA's third national Wildfire Community Preparedness Day on Saturday, May 7, and your activity could receive one of 125 project funding awards in the amount of $500 each to cover expenses related to grassroots efforts.
