If you are a voting member of SFPE, you should have received an email
containing information about the SFPE Constitution and Bylaws revision
that is currently up for member vote. This revision has been proposed
after much work by the Board of Directors and has been reviewed by legal
counsel and a professional registered parliamentarian.
Please cast your vote to help us update our governing documents to
enable us to be a more contemporary association empowered to meet the
needs of current and future members. You can review the revised
Constitution and Bylaws document here.
The current Constitution and Bylaws are available via the links
directly below under "Governance Documents." We have also created this FAQ document
that provides more information about what the consolidation of these
two documents entails. Additionally, SFPE President Michael Madden will
be hosting a webinar to respond to questions and concerns the membership
may have as well as provide more details on why this revision will
strengthen our organization. We will announce details about the webinar
once the date and time have been confirmed.
