SFPE Seeks Input on Next Edition of Handbook
Tuesday, August 23, 2016
SFPE's Standing Committee on Research, Tools and Methods (RTM) is responsible for identifying, developing and overseeing SFPE’s technical products, reviewing new innovations and establishing a research agenda for the fire safety engineering profession. As a way of getting input from fire protection engineers and those in allied professions, the RTM committee will be seeking input on several issues over the next few months.
The first item the committee is seeking feedback on is the next edition of the SFPE Handbook of Fire Protection Engineering. Recently, the RTM committee established a subcommittee that is looking at ways to improve the next edition of the Handbook, and we are asking for your input via the survey below as a way of providing data to guide this effort.
The survey will take about five minutes to complete. Please note, your responses will be kept confidential. You can find and take the survey here. Please feel free to share this message and the link so we can get as much feedback as possible. The deadline to complete the survey is October 1, 2016.
Thank you, your feedback is important to us. If you have any questions, feel free to contact SFPE Technical Director Chris Jelenewicz, P.E., FSFPE at firstname.lastname@example.org.
