Grand Challenges Initiative

The SFPE Foundation's Grand Challenges Initiative is a multi-year research and educational collaboration to develop a strategy for action in areas where the fire engineering community can have the greatest impact: Energy & Infrastructure, Resilience & Sustainability, Climate Change, and Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, & Cybersecurity. The GCI is comprised of industry, academic, government, non-profit, and other partners. GCI Partners receive preferred access to new RFPs, advisory panel participation, and fellowship opportunities.
