The 2026 WUI Fire Engineering Summit will be held in College Park, Maryland on August 10-12, 2026. Pre-conference activities include open-access webinars available at no cost through the SFPE Foundation Research in Fire Engineering webinar series.
Your Summit registration includes access to an opening reception on August 10, all educational and workshop sessions, light breakfasts, box lunches, and light refreshments during breaks, an evening reception on August 11th, the Expo Hall and sponsor product demonstrations, as well as research poster presentations.
Registration is $650.00 USD per person.
Registration opens in January 2026 and will close Friday, July 24, 2026.
There are exceptions for invited speakers and full-time students accepted to present through the research poster application process. SFPE Foundation staff will contact those individuals separately and provide discount codes to register. Some sponsorships also include event registration which will be coordinated directly with sponsoring organizations.
Capacity for this event is limited; we recommend registering as soon as possible to secure your spot!
Proceeds from registration and sponsorships associated with this event (after expenses) will be applied towards funding WUI research projects administered by the SFPE Foundation. In other words, your participation in this event will not only ensure a high-quality educational experience, but also help support critically needed research in areas that matter to our community.

Credit Hours: This event is not eligible for PDH credits from SFPE or the SFPE Foundation.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Please note that any refund requests must be received in writing via email prior to July 10, 2026. A $50 USD administrative fee will be incurred for any refunds processed by July 10, 2026. We are unable to process any requests for refunds received after July 10, 2026.
