SFPE European Fire Safety Engineering Award

The European Fire Safety Engineering Award is an award to promote developments in the fire safety engineering area in Europe. The awardee has made exceptional efforts in the area of fire safety engineering in the last five years following the SFPE mission:

"To define, develop, and advance the use of engineering best practices; expand the scientific and technical knowledge base; and educate the global fire safety community to reduce fire risk."

The Society of Fire Protection Engineers and SFPE Europe are pleased to announce Brian J. Meacham, PhD, PE, CEng, FIFireE, FSFPE, as the inaugural recipient of the European Fire Safety Engineering Award.  Presented at the SFPE European Conference & Expo on Fire Safety Engineering in Berlin, the 2023 award recognizes exceptional efforts in fire safety engineering.
