SFPE European Fire Safety Engineering Award


The European Fire Safety Engineering Award is an award to promote developments in the fire safety engineering area in Europe. The awardee has made exceptional efforts in the area of fire safety engineering in the last five years following the SFPE mission:

"To define, develop, and advance the use of engineering best practices; expand the scientific and technical knowledge base; and educate the global fire safety community to reduce fire risk."

The 2025 European Fire Safety Engineering Award winner is Prof. Wojciech Wegrzynski.
