Student Membership is available free of charge to all full-time students enrolled in a degree or certificate program in engineering or a fire-related field. Proof of student status is required annually in addition to a completed application.

Since its beginning, the SFPE - NCR Chapter has always welcomed the many professionals who work closely with fire protection engineers and are interested in the fire protection engineering information that the Chapter has to offer. These professionals come from all parts of the fire safety community - building officials, architects, the fire service, and the insurance industry, as well as the research and manufacturing communities.
