• Las Vegas, June 2, 2008 - NFPA honors J. Kenneth Richardson with prestigious Paul C. Lamb Award
  The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) selected J. Kenneth “Ken” Richardson to receive the prestigious 2008 Paul C. Lamb Award. The award is the highest honor given by the association for volunteer service and will be presented at NFPA’s World Safety Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas this week... (Full news release)

• Ottawa, January 29, 2007 - The SFPE NCR Chapter wishes to congratulate Guy Gosselin, from National Research Council Canada (NRC), for being awarded two fellowships by his peers. The Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) has honoured Guy with a Fellowship to recognize his excellence in engineering and his services to the profession and to society.  Guy was also elected a Fellow of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) for his contributions to civil engineering and his demonstrated leadership in the profession. Two independent committees of peers assess these recognitions to be awarded in Spring 2007.
