William E. Koffel, Jr., P.E., FSFPE

This course is presented by William E. Koffel, Jr., President of Koffel Associates, Inc.  Mr. Koffel is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Fire Protection Engineering.  He is a registered Professional Engineer, Fellow of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and Past-President of the Society.  In addition to his service as an SFPE instructor, Mr. Koffel has taught at the University of Maryland and the National Fire Academy.  Mr Koffel also has experience as a firefighter with the West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department and in code enforcement with the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
