Conference Schedule

The conference will feature 50+ presentations structured around the topics of Building Design, Industrial Risks, WUI, Battery Fires, Human Behavior, Fire Safety Systems - Special Hazards Water Systems, Structural Fire Engineering, Emerging Technologies & Infrastructure, SFPE Foundation Research, Case Studies, Ai/Digitalization, and much more. The opening keynote will feature a presentation by Fire Chief & General Manager of City of Vancouver, Karen Fry. A panel discussion on Single Egress Design, poster presentations and sessions specifically curated on SFPE Foundation initiatives will also be featured.  A total of 14.25 hours of professional development credits are available.

2025 SFPE Annual Conference Top Abstract Award

This prestigious award is selected by the Annual Conference Program Committee, and it is awarded to the highest rated abstract submission. The winning abstract technical presentation titled "Experimental Study of Large-Scale Compartment Fires in a Two-Story Mass Timber Structure" will be presented by Vusal Ibrahimli on Wednesday, October 22 at 1:40 PM PT.
