Travel Grant & Complimentary Registration Application for Students & Early-Career Researchers
The SFPE Foundation was awarded a grant from the
United Engineering Foundation to bring 50 students and early-career researchers and professionals from a wide range of interdisciplinary engineering backgrounds to the 2026 Wildland-Urban Interface Fire Engineering Summit August 10-12 at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Grant recipients include attendees, speakers, poster presenters, and student pitch competition team members. View the

Recipients will be reimbursed for up to $1,000 in travel grant funds and/or complimentary registration for the WUI Summit (an additional $650 value).
