THE 2023 GCI SUMMIT MEETINGS
A strategic roadmap for the future of fire engineering.

After a year of intensive working group meetings, the Grand Challenges Initiative Founding Partners seek feedback and input on the four GCI White Papers: Energy & Infrastructure, Resilience & Sustainability, Climate Change, and Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence, & Cybersecurity. All papers are now posted for public comment on the SFPE Foundation website.

The 2023 GCI Summit was held July 25-August 3.  Attendees had the opportunity to give feedback and learn about ways to get involved in the next phase of the initiative, which focuses on implementing the plan for progress across all four key areas. Registration was free and open to all. Sessions were recorded.

Click here to access the recordings. (Note that you must log into the course management system to watch the recordings. Registration and access to the recordings and slides are completely free.) Watch the recordings and learn more about the research, education, and outreach priorities the working group members have identified as part of a 10-year plan that will become our collective roadmap for the future of fire engineering. The slides are also available below in PDF format.
