Annual Conference & Expo
The SFPE Annual Conference & Expo is the largest annual gathering of fire protection engineers, fire safety engineers, fire engineers, and allied professionals. Professionals attend education sessions on topics including building and fire protection, design, modeling, hazards, human behavior, and case studies. In addition, ample networking ensures they are aware of the latest products, tools, and resources critical to their profession.
Some of the key product categories that conference attendees discuss and explore are sprinkler systems, smoke and fire detectors, fire alarms, fire suppressants, water supply, passive fire protection, consulting services, evacuation systems, software, control systems, building materials, and much more!
European Conference on Fire Safety Engineering
SFPE's bi-annual European Conference on Fire Safety Engineering has established a reputation globally as the premier gathering for keeping abreast of advancements in fire safety engineering in Europe. As fire safety engineering has been growing rapidly in many European countries, SFPE Europe (a legal entity headquartered in Belgium) has been expanding this event to address the regional needs and challenges as well as to facilitate greater networking, collaboration, and exchange among fire safety engineering professionals.
International Performance-Based Codes and Fire Safety Design Methods Conference
The application of fire safety engineering to develop innovative and robust fire and life safety solutions for the built environment has expanded considerably over the past 25 years. In many countries, this has been facilitated by the implementation of performance-based building and fire codes. SFPE's bi-annual International Performance-Based Codes and Fire Safety Design Methods Conference brings the global community together to discuss changes in codes, performance-based design metrics, and current and future trends in building and fire regulatory systems. Each conference features 1-3 case studies that countries prepare in advance and present to the conference attendees to examine different approaches through performance-based design.
