2020 SFPE Annual Conference & Expo:

Call for Abstracts

Abstract Submission Deadline: January 25, 2020

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

The SFPE Annual Conference is the premier gathering of leaders in the Fire Protection and Fire Safety Engineering industry. As we enter the next decade of the 2000s, SFPE is looking for individuals to present on topics that will lead our industry and society into 2020. Below are the 20 identified topics we are soliciting for the 2020 Conference.

To help us with planning, we ask that you please indicate into which of the following track topics that your proposed presentation best fits. Some of these topics have specific examples listed below which have been highlighted to further encourage topics:

Presentation abstracts should provide sufficient detail regarding scope, results, and applications to determine the quality and applicability of the engineering concepts that would be presented. If your presentation is accepted, the description you provide below will be used for marketing the event and published in the conference program. Additional supplementary references beyond the listed word count may be included. Presentations must be noncommercial in nature. Total presentation time would be 25 minutes, comprised of 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers.

If accepted, the presentation slides will be due by September 4, 2020
