DescriptionThis webinar summarizes the findings of the 2025 SFPE Foundation research report, "Fire Testing of Resilient and Sustainable Building Materials". Initially, an overview of the fire performance of various systems is provided, highlighting how the systems may impact fire safety. Thereafter, existing fire test procedures are discussed and the extent to which they are able to successfully evaluate the risks associated with modern systems. Shortcomings are identified along with potential considerations for moving the testing industry forward.
