Position Overview
SFPE is seeking an experienced professional to lead our industry partnerships and business development programs. This position offers the opportunity to help corporate and organizational partners meet their business and philanthropic goals in partnership with SFPE and the SFPE Foundation. Responsibilities include building and strengthening industry relationships to recruit donors, sponsors, and corporate partners, fulfilling sponsorship deliverables, developing event marketing opportunities, and managing SFPE and SFPE Foundation brand-building opportunities.
The Industry Partnerships & Sales Manager role is ideal for a self-motivated, goal-oriented sales and relationship management professional who thrives in a high-energy, mission-driven environment.
The Industry Partnerships & Sales Manager position will report to the SFPE CEO. The position will work remotely.
Responsibilities
This position encompasses four areas of responsibility, with additional duties assigned as needed:

Sponsorship and Event Sales (35%) – Lead sales of sponsorships and exhibit space for SFPE events, including conferences, symposiums, and webinars. Manage logistics for exhibit hall setup and communication with sponsors and exhibitors. Coordinate the execution of all event sponsorship deliverables.

Corporate Partner Program & Special Interest Group Sponsorships (20%) – Manage and grow the SFPE Corporate 100 Program and sponsorships for special interest groups. Manage the annual renewal process for corporate partners. Research and solicit new corporate partners. Coordinate event logistics for the annual Corporate 100 Annual Conference. Create, design, and update sponsorship prospectus and evaluate benefits and pricing.

Advertising Sales & Industry Events (20%) – Sell digital and print ad placements across SFPE’s publications and platforms. Coordinate receipt of all physical and digital assets. Coordinate SFPE's presence at external industry events and sponsorship recognition at SFPE events.

SFPE Foundation Support (15%) – Collaborate with the Foundation Director to secure and steward corporate sponsors. Plan and manage logistics for the annual VIP reception. Ensure fulfillment of contracted deliverables. Manage sponsor recognition programs. Work with the Foundation Director to create, design, and update sponsorship prospectuses.

Program & Financial Management (10%) – Maintain accurate data on contacts. Oversee contracts, revenue and expense budgets, and invoicing processes. Provide performance reporting across revenue streams.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years’ experience in sales, fundraising, or business development (association experience preferred).

Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Comfortable collaborating across teams and representing SFPE with external partners.

Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms.

Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5%).
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $85,000–$95,000
