Finally, it’s time for our first issue, the first opportunity of the year for us to share knowledge and information with you all. This is our eleventh year of delivering high quality articles to all of you.
The editorial team are preparing a steady flow of high-quality articles for you, these ones are the first to go, and we have also added an “old” article from an earlier issue. These are articles that have been accessed more often than others and if we believe that they are still of interest we will be adding some of them in random numbers.
We have just celebrated the very successful SFPE Europe Conference in Edinburgh, reaching an attendance of almost 300 people. It was a great event, full of very good presentations and a lot of networking activities. It was good to meet new faces and old colleagues. One of the highlights was the attendance of Dougal Drysdale even though he has health problems, him showing up made the day for many of us. In relation to this event SFPE sent out invitations to European readers about the possibility to “test join” SFPE and try out the benefits of being a full SFPE member. I strongly encourage people to do so, you will see the benefits of being a part of the SFPE family.
I will not go into any details about the articles, but I would like to mention the one about “Reflective Practice” which I did find different and interesting.
If there are readers out there that feel that you have an important subject that you would like to share with the industry do not hesitate to contact us, we can make that happen.
As always, a great thanks to the people who have put in a lot of time and effort to make this issue a reality.
